Rally Odds Revised

Here at Road Rally Central we take releasing new odds very seriously. We crunch the numbers, interview rally teams to determine their psychological state and watch an awful lot of Red Sox games (or Baseball Tonight when they play afternoon games). We also think about asking Tim S his opinion, but then conveniently forget to send him an email until press time, when it's too late. Maybe next time...

The current odds (released from our bunker in the Nevada desert):

Isosceles: Andy, Jeremy, Erin - 2:1
Two words... FO CUS. The Ciacciatz's have pretty much put wedding planning on the back burner to train for the Rally. I've seen them running intervals on the Bedford High School track while holding live chickens. They mean business. They were also the only team to choose the same start time on a recent survey of rally teams.

Big Red: Chris, Darren, Bizzy, and TWINS! (Jessica & Joanna) - 3:1
Calm, cool, collected and completely clueless, but somehow it works. Putting money on Big Red is like betting on the house... they're almost always in the mix.

Popped Biscuits: Greg, Joe, Katie - 4:1
Greg seems like he has some extra time on his hands, so it's just a mtter of time before he figures this whole thing out.

Akina All Stars: David, Patrick, Robert - 5:1
One word... distracted. This team is falling faster than a pair of cement shoes. Patrick may be willing to jump into a pool with more algae than the local swamp in August, but it just doesn't feel like enough to repeat.

Strange Brew: Mike, Meg, Sue - 10:1
A new X3, no inhibitions and zero navigation skills? I'm throwing caution to the wind and calling this team a lock to break into the top five.

Mystery Marauders: ??? - 20:1
What can you say about a team that you can't say anything about? That's right - not much. I sure hope this team makes it to the start line.
