Road Rally Planning

Just a quick heads up to all 2008 Road Rally participants that we're deep in planning here at IPRR HQ. We're in the process of determining the route and pulling together the lists that make it so much, umm... fun.

Just in case you're wondering, the Road Rally will kick off at approximately 9am on Friday August 1st at a place to be determined. More in another post.

We are actively working on putting together a Rally that will challenge you and keep you guessing. We're also contemplating new lists that have never seen the light of day. One that we're considering is one code named "wildcard." This list would contain ideas and your team would have a lot of latitude in decided how to interpret the idea and achieve a conclusion. For example, we might have an idea like:

A very large bucket of water and an unsuspecting stranger.

Points (minutes) will be given to you subjectively, based on what our judges think of how you solved the riddle. The points given will likely range from 0 (you didn't even attempt it) to 30 (we really like what you came up with). We will reward creativity and spunk. Most ideas will require some sort of verification (e.g. a photo).
