Back to the Future
I thought it might be helpful for the rookies in the crowd to take a look at the core IPRR packet materials from 2007. There's a lot more info in there, but these five documents are the most important. Study hard.
The Visits List
The Scavenger List
The Brain Benders
The College List
The Waterfall List
Note: By making these files available we are not implying that the 2008 IPRR Packet will contain the same documents. In fact, during the winter retreat in Barbados the IPRR Planning Committee got into a rather contentious discussion about the merits of these lists and whether it might make sense just to publish one large list with everything mixed up. Food for thought.

ps... We're sending notes to local establishments to learn more about their operations. Here's what we write:
Hi - I run a non-profit scavenger hunt to bring awareness to local businesses and historical sites of interest. I'd like to have the teams briefly visit and perhaps get a photo with someone in XXXXXXXXXXXXX. There are ten teams and they'll be doing the scavenger hunt on Friday August 1st. When is the earliest they could stop by in the morning?
Thanks for your help.
By combining all lists, you will require teams to essentially write their own Visits List, Scavenger List, etc. Do we want resources of rallyers concentrated on reorganizing the lists or carving out a strategy for obtaining items/visiting places? If "wild card" items are going to be part of the rally this year, this is even more reason for separate lists.
